Lexicor QEEG

The Lexicor AD/HD assessment is an EEG data collection process that will take approximately one and one half-hours. A cap, much like a bathing cap will be placed on the individual's head. The EEG cap contains 19 electrodes. In addition there are 2 ear reference electrodes, 2 ground electrodes, 2 eye electrodes and 2 additional electrodes for a total of 28 electrodes.

The electrodes collect information about the electrical activity of the individual's brain. This data enables comparison of patient brain waves with thousands of other brain wave files. An individual patient report is generated approximately 48 hours after the procedure takes place. This report, combined with your doctor's review, will enable a more accurate evaluation of the existence of AD/HD.

Eastex Sleep Solutions will provide you and/or your doctor with the report, which is a unique, objective AD/HD assessment tool. You must consult with a doctor to review the results of your DataLex report, as Eastex Sleep Solutions is not a diagnosis or treatment facility.
